2. “Is it hot there right now?” the stupidest of 10 Questions All Dubai Dwellers Are Tired Of Hearing

Yes, repeat this answer for 11 months out of the year. We live in the desert, you idiot!

3. “I’m coming to Dubai on the [insert the busiest week of the year]! Can we plan for dinner?”

No <3 are you serious? At that time of the year?

It’s the worst of the 10 questions all Dubai dwellers are tired of hearing!

4. “Have you gone to [insert new fad restaurant]?”

It’ll probably be gone when I get around to it.  

5. “What’s a good coffee shop to work at?”

We actually have an answer to that one.

6. “Approximately how much do I need to budget per month?”

That is the rudest question of all time.  Are you asking me how much my salary is?

7. “Do you want to meet at the mall on Friday?”

Immediately no. 

8. “Shall we take the metro?”

Also no.

9. “Where is a good place to meet singles?”

Work. The answer is always work. (And sometimes at the gym.) 

10. “How long have you lived in Dubai?”

I’d rather not say. It’s like forever!
